The SEO Process I Actually Use for Jaipur Businesses

Every campaign I run follows the same sequence, not because SEO is formulaic, but because skipping a step is exactly how businesses end up with random changes that never add up to anything. Here's the actual order, and why each part matters.

1. Audit before touching anything

Before a single change gets made, I pull Search Console history, crawl the site, and check what's already ranking, what's indexed, and where Core Web Vitals stand. Most of what turns up isn't glamorous: a missing sitemap, thin pages quietly competing against each other, a redirect chain nobody noticed. See the full SEO audit, or run a first pass yourself with the audit checklist.

2. Study the three competitors actually beating you

Not the whole market, just the top three sites already ranking for the terms that matter. What content do they have that you don't? Where's their authority actually coming from? That usually surfaces gaps faster than any amount of guessing.

3. Keyword research that ends in clusters, not a spreadsheet

A list of a hundred keywords is close to useless if fifteen of them are the same search phrased four different ways. I group related terms into clusters and map each cluster to one strong page, instead of building a separate thin page for every small variation. A search like "SEO expert in Jaipur" sits in the same cluster as "SEO consultant Jaipur" and "SEO specialist in Jaipur", so all three point to one page built to earn that authority, not three pages splitting it.

4. Turn it into a roadmap, not a task list

Every fix, every new page and every keyword gets tied to a reason: this page needs this keyword because the audit found this specific gap. That's the difference between a roadmap and a checklist copy-pasted from a template.

5. Fix the site, then build content and authority

Technical issues get fixed first, since content and links built on top of a site Google can't properly crawl are wasted effort. From there: on-page fixes (titles, headings, internal links), content built around real search intent rather than keyword stuffing, then backlinks from sites actually relevant to the industry, not bought in bulk.

6. Local signals, for a Jaipur-facing business

Google Business Profile, consistent business information across directories, and genuinely different content for each area served, not one page trying to rank for every neighbourhood at once.

7. Track weekly, not quarterly

Waiting three months to check what happened means three months of a mistake compounding unnoticed. Rankings, impressions and clicks get checked weekly, and whatever isn't working gets adjusted then, not left to run until the next report.

This is the same process behind everything on this site, whether that's a full audit or ongoing work. If you want an honest read on where your site actually stands, get a free SEO audit.
